Ella and John’s wedding day took place on a very hot midsummer’s day - a day when I felt very glad of the cool inside the stunning St John’s Hyde Park! This beautiful church has been an important part of the bride’s family’s life for many years, and the ceremony was followed by a reception at The Amadeus, Maida Vale.
Ella’s bouquet was made with delicate lily of the valley, following family tradition. Soft summer colour filled the pedestals, aisle meadows and altar decor, with delicate trailing greenery on the columns. We then transported all arrangements, bar part of the altar meadow which was gifted by the couple to the church, on to the Amadeus for the evening’s celebrations.
The lovely Claudia and Ivan brought all the spring colour and joy on their May wedding day at The Bedford in Balham. Coral peonies, nigella, snapdragons, garden roses and sweetpeas filled Claudia’s bouquet, and delicate bud vases and taper candles decorated the tables in The Ballroom. A gorgeous London pub wedding!
I absolutely LOVED Harriet’s plan for her wedding flowers - bright and bold with lots of movement, varying heights and flower shapes - and there are so many blooms at this time of year that create exactly that vibe. Icelandic poppies I think were the star of the show, both in Harriet’s bouquet for the ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall, and in the table flowers at The Bedford.
Congratulations Harriet and John - what a joyful day! Photography by the bride’s brother Adam McMillan.
What a gorgeous start to my 2025 wedding year! A Valentine’s Day wedding at the classic London venue Chelsea Old Town Hall, filled with all the red and pink flowers that feel just right on that particular day.
Jenna & Simon asked me to create floral arrangements in the sweetest pastel shades, with pedestals, petals, footed bowl arrangements and vases to decorate the iconic south west London pub The Bedford. For the ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall I made Jenna a bouquet to complement her stunning dress with gorgeous bow detail - obsessed! - and of course buttonholes for Simon and co.
What a joy it was to create the flowers for Sofia and Tom’s Greenwich wedding - a stunning venue that felt like a little slice of countryside in the big smoke. Even lovelier was knowing the couple chose Charlton House as their wedding venue because it was where they had their very first date during a gap in lockdowns during the pandemic.
When Lizzie briefed me on what she wanted, flower-wise, for her wedding to Liam, the focus was on colour. And what a gorgeous time of year to incorporate fresh, late spring and early summer shades - not quite clashing, but certainly contrasting and above all FUN!
For Alex & Ben, who celebrated at The Amadeus, the palette was distinctly October but with light, bright touches. Deep reds were combined with soft yellows, peaches and burnt oranges for Alex’s bouquet and the table flowers. Ben’s buttonhole was all about texture, with thistle, rosehips and greenery.
Izabela and Ed married on a beautiful sunny September day, with a ceremony at St James’ Church in Holland Park, followed by a reception at The Amadeus.
Riz and Kat’s gorgeous, colourful wedding had two important influences when it came to the flowers. One was the groom’s heritage, and for this we created - in place of a traditional four-pillar mandap - an extended arch for the couple’s nikah ceremony, adorned with late summer flowers in beautiful bold shades of red, hot pink and bold orange, with garlands of marigolds.
Priscilla and Kweku married in late spring in a super stylish central London celebration. I created a perfectly simple white reflexed rose bouquet - single variety, no foliage - and buttonholes to match.
The reception flowers for Spring were a beautiful, scented soft pastel mix, including British-grown sweet peas and orlaya, with bud vases dotted along the tables and a larger vase arrangement to accompany the cake.
It was full black tie glamour at RSA House for Annabel & Anthony - my first wedding of 2023. Annabel in the most beautiful bridal cape & dress, bridesmaids in black sequins and mirror balls and sparkle EVERYWHERE… What a way to start the season!
Lara & Gus’ gorgeous city wedding celebrations took place at Old Marylebone Town Hall and The Amadeus, in West London’s Maida Vale in December 2022. With styling masterminded by the brilliant Whole Lotta Love, the day was photographed by Marta Ilardo - see some of her gorgeous work below!
Sally & Jon’s gorgeous colourful wedding celebration was held at one of my favourite places to work, The Amadeus in Maida Vale. A floral arch and aisle meadows for the ceremony were then repurposed for the reception, with the meadows decorating the alcoves and windowsills of the Amadeus’ Upper Hall.
